KARTING AT ANCASTER LEISURE

Ancaster Leisure is in pole position leading the way improving the standard of karting facilities for over 25 years now.

We have three different karts available covering most ages and abilities. The Bambino karts start the karting at age 8, Cadet karts for juniors and the 270cc Biz Evo Le Mans single engine 50+mph kart for those aged 16 and over.

Along with being one of the best multi-activity venues there is, offering corporate events, stag weekends, the backbone is the fantastic multi-track layout 1200 meter outdoor circuit!

There are six different layouts possible for you to drive on! Day to day, the full circuit is split into two generous size circuits, running side by side called ‘Brooklands’ and ‘Club’.

You can choose individual or group ‘track time’ driving (arrive and drive) or with 8 or more people have a circuit layout exclusively for your group and do a full formatted race with awards given to the top three drivers, or choose something in between!

Our helpful, flexible and friendly staff will ensure your track time is a fabulous experience.

Top Tips:

Simple ways to shave seconds off your laptime
Without the simple theory of losing a couple of pounds, these tips might help you find your way onto the podium.

– Be as smooth as you can, a common mistake made while racing is trying too hard, any aggressive turning or braking will affect the karts behaviour.

– Sit back and relax, learning forward, jumping up and down in the seat, or hanging out of the kart while going around a corner only disrupts the intended balance of the kart.

Hearing tyres screech around the track may sound impressive, but the kart is actually going sideways instead of forwards.

Anyone can go fast into a corner, but 9/10 times the driver will either run wide or find a tyre wall to slow them down.
